What does Law on Data Protection bring?

Physical persons frequently disclose their personal data (e.g. full name, address, unique personal number, bank account number), in their everyday activities that legal persons collect and further process for different purposes. Is such use of personal data legal? The legal persons that use personal data are required to undertake certain actions to protect the data. During the training we will present to you the rules and practice in the field of data protection, i.e. obligations that lie upon all those that come into contact with personal data.

  • Information deemed to be personal data,
  • Conditions that a personal data filing system controller has to meet to legally process the data,
  • Activities that comprise personal data processing,
  • Rights of the person that the personal data relate to and protection of those rights,
  • Reporting the data base to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection,
  • Other obligations of the Personal Data Filing System Controller,
  • Trans-border transfer of personal data from Serbia: conditions, procedure, approval.

Law on Data Protection in practice:

  • Penalty provisions,
  • Practice of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection related to the control of the law application.
