Biography

Darija commenced her professional career in 2001. She joined the firm in 2004 and became a partner in 2008. As the head of the competition department, Darija worked as the chief legal advisor on many significant M&A and competition law projects, representing numerous international corporations in obtaining approval for their global mergers before domestic authorities (Holcim-Lafarge, Schering Plough-Merck, Nokia-Siemens). Darija is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), International League of Competition Law (LIDC), Competition Section – Law Society of England and Wales (external member), and the Women’s Competition Network (WCN). She is the author of the article “Competition Law in Central and Eastern Europe: Practical Guidelines,” published in Kluwer. Additionally, Darija has been appointed as an arbitrator at the Permanent Arbitration Court of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Serbia. Darija is “roundly praised by her clients” – IFLR1000.
